DAY 1: ARRIVAL BANGKOK - SIEM REAP
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel check in. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap
DAY 2: CYCLING TO KROBEI REAL VILLAGE (B/L) CYCLING DISTANCE – 15KM
After breakfast, Cycling tour of back road to visit an orphanage, the continue on bike toward the village of Krobei real - This tour provides an opportunity to gain insights into Cambodian rural life and traditional Khmer culture. Spend the day travelling through a number of relatively un-changed villages and learn about the day-to-day lives of the local people. This is a world away from Siem Reap, and provides you with the perfect opportunity to get ‘off the beaten track’. Stop at the village of Krabei Real, where there is time for you to explore the local market and purchase some supplies for your lunch. Travel by Ox cart and pass through rice fields, visiting local communities, schools and pagodas. In the afternoon, relax and explore the village before returning to Siem Reap. En route, stop to visit the workshops of the Artisans d’Angkor, and explore Siem Reap’s market before arriving back at your hotel.
DAY 3: CYCLING TO BAYON - TA PROMH - ANGKOR WAT(B/L) - CYCLING DISTANCE – 45KM
Today we will start an amazing cycling tour on the back and less used roads to West Gate of Angkor Thom City. Using this way we get better and more authentic scenery of the traditional houses and fascinating architecture on stills. Continuing to the Bayon Temple (216 faces of Buddha) and Ta Prohm Temple. After lunch break at a local restaurant have an extensive exploration of the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat. You will realize why this great temple is simply unsurpassed by any other monument. From Angkor Wat, we are cycling the back road to Siem Reap Town
DAY 4: SIEM REP BIKING TO TO BANTEAY SREI - KBALSPEAN AND BACK WITH TRUCK (B/D) - CYCLING DISTANCE – 50KM
This morning after breakfast we cycle to the rose sandstone temple of Banteay Srei and explore the temple’s magnificent carvings. We will pass many local villages and schools and people going about their day-to-day business and get a really good feel for life in Cambodia. On the way we have a chance to visit Banteay Samre, often missed but well worth a visit. This is one of the best rides on the tour. We stop at Banteay Srei for a well-earned rest before continuing on to Kbal Spean (River of 1,000 Lingas) and lunch at local restaurant at your own account. After lunch hiking to the top to view the riverbed carvings, we hike back to the start point and transfer by bus back to Siem Reap. Tonight enjoy dinner at the local restaurant with Apsara Dance show.
DAY 5: TON LE SAP LAKE OF KOMPUNG PLUK – (CYCLING AND BACK WITH SUPPORT VEHICLE BACK TO SIEM REAP) (B/L) - CYCLING DISTANCE – 46KM
Today we leave the crowds behind and head towards the small village of Roulous, home to some of the oldest temples of the Angkor Complex. This beautiful 15km ride leads through rural Cambodia and offers plenty of opportunities to once more interact to the local people. Upon reaching at Roulous we explore the three main temples – Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong. After discovering the fabulous temple ruins we continue our bicycle ride to the floating village of Kompong Phhluk. The submerged forest makes this tranquil place unique and is a treat for visitors. We enjoy a boat tour around the village, between the trees breaking through the water surface and soak in the culture of living life on the water. Return for lunch at a local restaurant before cycle or drive back to Siem Reap
DAY 6: FLIGHT: SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, free and relax at your hotel or spend your own time shopping at the local market until the time to be transfer to the airport for the flight departure
